Achieving for Children has a duty to support children and families. To help achieve this, we may need to share information we hold on our records, or ask for information about children and families, with the following agencies: Health; Education; Police; Social Care; Probation; Housing; Early Years; Youth Offending; Mental Health Services; Drug and Alcohol Organisation; Other Local Authorities.

Achieving for Children may use the information you have provided for the administration of justice, maintaining public safety, the apprehension of offenders, the prevention of crime and disorder, the detection of crime, or the protection of vulnerable members of the community.

We will always comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and never give information about you to anyone else, or use information for another purpose unless the law allows us.
As a result of contacting the Single Point of Access Team a request for support may be made to a team within Achieving for Children, or to an external agency.
